A View From The BridgeAct IIPart oneCatherine and Rodolpho are alone in the apartment. They talk about their future.Rodolpho attempts to persuade Catherine to break free from Eddie's influence.Eddie returns and sees Catherine first, and then Rodolpho emerging from the bedroom.In a drunken rage he orders Rodolpho to leave. He then kisses Catherine on the mouth.When Rodolpho flies to her defence, Eddie kisses him too.Eddie revisits Alfieri who warns him not to inform the Immigration Bureau about Marco and Rodolpho.Eddie ignores his advice and calls the Bureau.The immigration officers arrive and arrest Marco and Rodolpho.Marco suspects Eddie and spits in his face.Eddie threatens to kill Marco.Part 2:In the prison reception room Alfieri says he will bail Marco if he promises to not kill Eddie. Eventually Marco Promises.At home Eddie says he will not be satisfied until Marco apologises to him.Beatrice confronts Eddie about his feelings for Catherine.Marco appears and Eddie demands he give him back his good name.They clash and Eddie dies from a wound inflicted by his own knife.Alfieri mourns Eddie and says it is better to "Settle for half" rather than always demanding full justice.
