Resources Platforms on Informational Texts

There are now some platforms which provide collections of informational texts for students. One example that I personally recommend is Actively Learn.

Now, go to https://www.activelylearn.com/.  Sign in. (Sign up for a free account first if you haven't done so yet.) After you have signed in, on your Teacher's Dashboard, click on "Genres > Informational', and then 'Themes', to get a quick look at the texts that appear. Open one or two texts to see the content and the inserted questions and notes.

Now, go to:  https://eltngl.com/assets/downloads/impact_pro0000008502/impact_l4_unit1.pdf   Skim through the Unit, paying attention to the content of the Reading Passage.
