ANIMATED POLISH CARTOONS

In Poland, in the seventies and eighties, when our parents were small children, there were bedtime stories on TV every day at 7:00 p.m. 1.One of the very famous Polish cartoons made in the Drawing Film Studio in Bielsko-Biała was Reksio the dog. He lived in a doghouse and had a lot of friends from the yard. He always helped others. In his doghouse he had a bed, books, a picture, a lamp and food. Reksio had a lot of adventures and once a grasshopper came to live with him and played the violin. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CkMZEGSNFo4 2. The second famous cartoons  made in the Drawing Film Studio in Bielsko-Biała was Bolek and Lolek. It was a story about two brothers. Lolek was shorter and thicker, and Bolek was taller and thinner. Lolek was wearing trousers and a T-shirt, and Bolek shorts and a T-shirt. Their friend was a girl named Tola. They had many adventures together, for example once they were 2 cowboys in the wild west with a horse. 3. Next was TV series about the famous Teddy Bear Uszatek created in the Se-ma-for Studio of Small Film Forms. It was a special teddy bear because it had one ear closed. Teddy had many adventures with his neighborhood friends like a pig and rabbits. He always at the end of the story was singing a bedtime song to the children and then was going to sleep. 4. The next animated series is the Magic Pencil, which was created at the Se-ma-for Studio of Small Film Forms in Łódź. It was a story about the adventures of a boy named Piotrek who was drawing pictures with the magic pencil and the pictures became real, for example flowers were alive.

5. Another Polish animated series, produced in the Studio of Small Film Forms Se-Ma-For, is a cartoon about the adventures of a young, white cat Filemon and an old, black, lazy cat Bonifacy. They lived on the farm. 6. The next fairy tale was about the not very intelligent Goat named Matołek who was walking around the world, looking for the town Pacanów and at the same time was falling into new troubles. The goat was wearing shoes, red shorts and a backpack. 7. The next fairy tale filmed in Se-Ma-For in Łódź is a series about Plastuś. It was a tiny creature made of plasticine. He lived in a pencil case with a rubber, crayon, penknife, pen and pencil. The pencil case belonged to Tosia, a first-class girl. Tosia made Plastuś at the beginning of the school year. All children liked it. 8. The first Polish folk-tale is the story of Small Pyza (small dumpling) made by a housewife. Pyza escaped from her plate and wanted to travel. She looked like a small girl and visited various regions of Poland, introducing young viewers to local traditions and local melodies. 9. The Sparrow Ćwirek was born in Łódź in Se-Ma-For. He lived in a stork's nest and always got into troubles. From this cartoon, children learned about the behavior of other species of birds.   10. Another animated fairy tale was the Ingenious Dobromir. This country boy was constructing new items that made it easier for him to carry out his daily duties.
