1. Warming up: Think about the past ten years. How have things changed in your country? your city? and your own life? This is a Unit to think and talk about future plans, and all those changes that are coming.

2. Look at the following picture. It looks like a colony on another planet, but, in fact, it is The Eden Project, a unique conservation project that tells the story of mankind's dependence on plants.

3. Watch this video about the Eden Project and then do the quiz.

4. Give your answers on the following: What do you think the aim of the Eden Project is?Would you like to visit the Eden Project? Why? Why not? To answer these questions, please go to the following link: http://www.itextpad.com/ There, you create a file with the name you want in UNTITLED, type your answer in the space provided. Then, go to MYURL, which is on the right of the screen, and change the URL for one that identifies YOU and the ACTIVITY (see the link with an example) http://www.itextpad.com/BeatrizV-Activity4 , and finally share your link in a private message to me on the platform.

5. Listen to two friends, Emma and Diane. Then, answer the quiz about their conversation.

6. Read these plans mentioned in the conversation. a. She's been working really hard and I think she's going to pass them all.b. We're staying in a small hotel in Padstow for a week.c. We're going to take Kathy to the Eden Project.d. Oh I'm sure he'll have a great time.e. No, don't worry. I'll take a day off.f. It's on BBC2 and it starts at 07:30.g. Check the different meanings of the plans above. Test your understanding by revising the flashcards!

8. Using the different ways to make plans, write some ideas (about 6 or 7 complete ideas) on your plans and arrangements for the next few weeks.
