Unit 1 "Wish list"

1. Warming up: Think about the past ten years. How have things changed in your country? your city? and your own life? This is a Unit to think and talk about future plans, and all those changes that are coming.

2. Look at the following picture. It looks like a colony on another planet, but, in fact, it is The Eden Project, a unique conservation project that tells the story of mankind's dependence on plants.

3. Watch this video about the Eden Project and then do the quiz.

4. Give your answers on the following: What do you think the aim of the Eden Project is?Would you like to visit the Eden Project? Why? Why not? To answer these questions, please go to the following link: http://www.itextpad.com/ There, you create a file with the name you want in UNTITLED, type your answer in the space provided. 5. Listen to two friends, Emma and Diane. Then, answer the quiz about their conversation.

Check the different meanings of the plans above. Test your understanding by revising the flashcards!

8. Using the different ways to make plans, write some ideas (about 6 or 7 complete ideas) on your plans and arrangements for the next few weeks.
