What is a mineral?A mineral is an element or chemical compound that is normally crystalline and has been formed as a result of geological processes.Minerals are naturally occurring, inorganic crystalline compounds with a definite chemical composition.
Minerals are; Solid Made of atoms Have a fixed chemical composition crystal lattice with a regular repeating pattern
What is a crystal?A crystal grows by minerals adding atoms around their margins. They develop their shapes due to atom arrangement developing a CRYSTAL. A clean, well developed crystal is known as euhedral, whereas the opposite of this is known as Anhedral.
