What are some advantages of Cellular Offices? 1) Provides Privacy. 2) Can be locked for Security Reasons. 3) Provide quiet working environment with not many distractions. 4) Imply a certain status e.g Management.
What are some disadvantages of Cellular Offices? 1) Difficult to supervise staff. 2) Takes up more room in a building. 3) Junior Staff find it harder to approach Senior Staff. 4) Separate offices require more lighting than open plan meaning more money is spent.
What is an Open Plan Office? Where there is a large working area broken down into smaller areas which accommodate small groups of workers. It is usually divided by screen.
What are some advantages of Open Plan offices? 1) Staff supervision is easier. 2) Communication with Junior and Senior is easier. 3) The layout can be altered easily. 4) Work Flow between individuals and departments is faster. 5) Cheaper.
