| What is Mitochorndria? | Mitochondria are the organelles in which cellular respiration takes place. |
| What does the liver do? | The liver: -breaks down hormones -breaks down hemoglobin -breaks down or modifies toxic substances and medicines -converts ammonia to urea. |
