Extrinsic Motivators	Motivation which comes from outside the person (ie. Pay, bonuses, other tangible rewards)
Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs	Physiological, Safety, Social, Esteem, Self Actualization
ERG Theory	Existence, Relatedness, Growth
Motivation Hygiene Theory	Intrinsic Factors- Job Satisfaction Extrinsic Factors- Job dissatisfaction
McClelland's Theory of Needs	Achievement, Power, Affiliation
Expectancy Theory	Theory that individuals act depending upon their evaluation of whether their effort will lead to good performance, and whether that will be followed by a given outcome, and whether that outcome is attractive to them.
MBO- Management By Objectives	An approach to goal setting in which specific measurable goals are jointly set by managers and employees; progress on goals is periodically reviewed, and rewards are allocated on the basis of this progress
Equity Theory	Individuals compare their job inputs and outcomes with those of other, and then respond to eliminate any inequities
Fair Process & Treatment	When people are treated in an unjust manner, they respond by retaliating.
Cognitive Evaluation Theory	Offering extrinsic rewards for work effort that was previously rewarding intrinsically will decrease person's motivation
