Why is Pliny the younger a good source? (Six reasons)	-Eye witness -well-educated -Knew about natural history -He could write about it intelligently -He heard of all events from his uncle's travelling companions. -He wrote down an account of events when it was still fresh in his mind.

What happened to Pliny's uncle?	Pliny the elder died whilst trying to save his friend from the volcano who had sent him an urgent letter pleading for help from a friend who lived at the foot of Vesuvius and her only escape was by sea. What killed him was the toxic gasses in the air emitted from the volcano
