What are the reasons for the change of attitudes towards marriage and the family in the UK?	The UK is now multi-ethnic and multi-faith society. People are more open-minded of difference. What is a nuclear family?	Mother, father and children living as a unit.
What is a re-constituted family?	Where two sets of children (stepbrothers and stepsisters) become one family when their divorced parents marry each other.
What is an extended family?	Parents, children, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins all living together.
