Printed. Produce (books, newspapers, magazines, etc.), especially in large quantities, by a mechanical process involving the transfer of text, images, or designs to paper. Ex. "A thousand copies of the book were printed"
Deadline. The latest time or date by which something should be completed. Ex. "The deadline for submissions is october 5th".
Joking. humorous or flippant. Ex. "He always is talking a joking manner"
Unreasonable. Not guided by or based on good sense. Ex. "Your attitude is completely unreasonable."
Steak. High-quality beef taken from the hindquarters of the animal, typically cut into thick slices that are cooked by grilling or frying. Ex. "The steak you cooked was very tasty".
Straightforward. Uncomplicated and easy to do or understand. Ex. "In a straightforward case no fees will be charged."
Butcher. A person whose trade is cutting up and selling meat in a shop. Ex. “The meat will be butchered for the local market."
Luggage. Suitcases or other bags in which to pack personal belongings for traveling. Ex. "Upon landing, we waited and waited for our luggage."
Duties A moral or legal obligation; a responsibility. Ex. "He always performs his duties faithfully".
Lovingly. With love or great care. Ex. "They smile lovingly at each other"
Bankruptcy. The state of being bankrupt. "many companies were facing bankruptcy"
Enlightenment. The action of enlightening or the state of being enlightened. Ex."Robbie looked to me for enlightenment"
Promptly. In a prompt manner: without delay: very quickly or immediately Ex. “I'm going to speak French again, something I learned in school and promptly forgot”.
Rescheduled. Arrange a new repayment plan of (a debt). Ex. "They rescheduled external debts to improve their economic situation"
Meaningless. Having no meaning or significance. Ex."The paragraph was a jumble of meaningless words"
Strive. Make great efforts to achieve or obtain something. Ex. "National movements were striving for independence
Grasp. Seize and hold firmly. EX. "She grasped the bottle"
Reminder A thing that causes someone to remember something. Ex. "The watchtower is a reminder of the days when an enemy might appear at any moment"
Defrost Become free of accumulated ice, usually by being turned off for a period. Ex. "she opened the door to let the fridge defrost."
Torch a portable means of illumination such as a piece of wood or cloth soaked in tallow or an oil lamp on a pole. Ex. He ripped open the door, blinded by the torch light in the halls.
