What is the difference in a concentration of a substance called? The concentration gradient.
What is passive transport? Substance doesn't require additional energy to move. The movement of molecules down the concentration gradient (from high to low)
What are the two examples of passive transport? Diffusion and osmosis.
What is diffusion? The movement of substances from a high concentration to a low concentration down a concentration gradient.
