Questão Responda
Describe the mechanism for elevating mitochondria numbers after high intensity training (HIT). HIT causes elevated calcium ions and AMPK in the cell which increases PCG1 alpha which leads to increased mitochondrial gene expression
Describe the mRNA response of endurance trained and untrained people after resistance training and endurance training. Untrained people see mRNA increases for both resistance and endurance training. Trained individuals don't see increase after endurance training but a slight increase after resistance training.
Describe the pathway that takes place for insulin to activate mTOR after resistance training. Insulin activates IRS1 which in turn activates P13K which then activates mTOR. mTOR then goes onto cause translation initiation which leads to elevated protein synthesis.
Hypertrophy is/isn't due to elevated basal mean protein synthesis rate. isn't
Give an outline of the sequence of events which lead to training adaptations, specifically oxidative capacity. Training->Signal->DNA->RNA->elevated CTP1->increased fat uptake->increased oxidative capacity
All adaptions occur as a result of ______ factors leading to changes of the ______ _____. Transcriptional, Gene expression
