Explain the greenhouse affect. | 1) Electromagnetic radiation at most wavelengths from the Sun pass through the Earth's atmosphere. 2) The Earth absorbs radiation with short wavelengths as long wavelengths are infrared. 3) Infrared radiation is partially absorbed by greenhouse gases. 4) The atmosphere warms up. |
