Practice using tell in indirect speech. Instructions: Student A will say the name of a student in class and then he/she will read the sentence. The person whose name was called out will give the sentence in reported speech using the verb tell.
Example: Maria: Carlos, I need to talk to you. Carlos: Maria told me that she needed to talk to me. I will see you tomorrow.
I know your brother. I have met your father.
I´m getting tired. I am single.
I like ice cream. I won´t come to the university tomorrow.
I can´t read your handwriting. I don´t like sushi.
I took a taxi to the university this morning. I have to pass the course.
I think you speak Spanish very well. You should see that movie.
I´ll meet you at the restaurant . I´m going to go on vacation soon.
Your spelling is very good. I´ve never seen that movie.
I may not come to class tomorrow. I should go on a diet.
I´m sleepy. I hate the pollution in this city.
