HISTORY: In 1945 was created the Swiss Cheese Factory Göggel and Bazinger, as a family business. In 1950, ALPINA purchased land in Sopo with a bank loan, where it built its first industrial plant for milky derivatives. In 1975 the company grew from a family business to be a formal company. In 1985, ALPINA bought the company Chambourcy and the company Passicol. In 1995 Alpina started to export to Venezuela and Ecuador. In 2000 Alpina received ISO 9001 certification. In 2002 ALPINA company bought the milky company Friesland and Proloceki in Ecuador. In 2008 he created the Alpine Foundation and the Corporate Responsibility. In 2010 it began operating Entrerríos plant, one of the most modern plants yogurt in Latin American. In 2011 he began construction of the first production of Alpina Foods, in the state of New York. | HISTORY: On 24 June 1964 a group of 65 dairy farmers created the COOLECHERA cooperative, which later became COLANTA. In 1973 he was appointed as Chief COOLECHERA, the Dr. Genaro Pérez Gutiérrez. In 1976 launched its first pasteurization plant. In 1979 it began operating its plant concentrates and mineralized salts In 1998 COLANTA bought the Central Cooperative for Livestock Integral Benefits, CENCOBIP, in the town of Santa Rosa de Osos. Between 1996 and 2002 began operating three pulverization plants. In 1998 exported first milk powder, evaporated milk, cream and Arequipe. In 2013 exports totaled 28 billion pesos. Now, has approximately 9,806 partners COLANTA and producers. Generates 6,175 direct jobs and over 35 thousand indirect jobs; and receives an average of 2.28 million liters of milk per day. |
