              • So the cycle went round and round ,people stopped buying things to pay for bread, people were then fired because the company's were not making enough money and then more people came unemplyed and it goes on and on

                                        1. Very wealthy and powerful- controlled education, medicine
                                          1. Split up in the estate- poor village priests or the rich archbishops!
                                            1. Didn't have to go to war
                                            2. 2nd estate
                                              1. Nobility
                                                1. Position by birth- of the sword
                                                  1. work they did- of the robe
                                                    1. Such as being a judge got u into the 2nd estate
                                                      1. You could by the jobs from the king
                                                    2. 350,000 people
                                                      1. Lots of privileges
                                                        1. didn't have to pay many taxes
                                                      2. 3rd estate
                                                        1. 27 million people
                                                          1. everyone else
                                                            1. mixed group of people
                                                              1. 80-90% were pesants
                                                            2. no privileges
                                                          2. System had become outdated and no longer worked well
                                                            1. people started to complain
