- PROCEDURE
- The Rabbit Zygote with the Recombinant
DNA is reimplanted into the mother who
gives birth to transgenic offspring.

enzymes.
- 3.Obtain fertilized Oocyte of Rabbit and cut DNA

- 4. The desired DNA is annealed to the
Rabbit Zygote DNA using DNA ligase
Enzyme. The result is a Recombinant DNA.

DNA is reimplanted into the mother who

- The rabbits are part of a genetic manipulation experiment, one that the
researchers hope will shed some light on hereditary diseases and hopefully
lead the way to producing drugs to help cure them.
