Advantages and Disadvantages of using resoures
1. Coal (Non-Renewable)
  1. Advantages
    1. Produces a lot of electricity/energy
    2. Currently there is good availability of coal around the world
    3. Relatively inexpensive
  2. Disadvantages
    1. It is non-renewable and fast depleting
    2. Burning coal produces carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas
2. Bio-gas (Sustainable Resource)
  1. Advantages
    1. Carbon dioxide is absorbed when they are grown
    2. Car engines need little change to cope with bio fuels
  2. Disadvantages
    1. Need a huge area of land to grow the crop, often resulting in deforestation of existing land
    2. Not completely carbon-neutral because the land has to be cleared first, then it has to be transported for use elsewhere
3. Wind (Renewable Resource)
  1. Advantages
    1. Free
    2. Unlimited
    3. Environmentally friendly because it does not emit greenhouse gases
  2. Disadvantages
    1. Inconsistent
    2. Wind turbines are an eye sore
    3. Do not produce huge amounts of electricity/energy unless it is very windy
