    1. Owner: Alleius Nigidius Maius
      1. Date: 140 - 120 BCE
        1. At least three distinct stages of construction, expansion and renovation up to 79 AD.
        2. Typical domus layout.
          1. 2300m squared.
          2. South to North axis
          3. GARDEN
            1. A large hortus at the back of the property
              1. 26.5m by 30.5m
              2. Divided into rectangular plots
                1. Layout suggests produce was grown rather than an ornamental garden.
                  1. Between the plots were paths that were also used as irrigation canals.
                  2. At the rear of the garden a water reservoir and remains of lead fittings and pipes were found. Used to water the garden.

                    1. Bakeries
                      1. Selling produce from garden.
                        1. Shops
                          1. At least three rented out rooms able to be rented out.
                          2. AESTHETICALLY PLEASING FEATURES
                            1. Small pool in the middle of the Peristylium
                              1. Originally painted blue with small fish and plants painted on the side
                                1. Nobody really had pools in those days (not including impluvium). This pool was different and quite interesting.
                                2. 16 Ionic Columns
                                  1. Mis-matched capitals
                                    1. Bottom halves were painted yellow while the top half was painted white.
                                      1. Were interesting to look at and were different.
