                    1. Topic sentence: One final relationship that helps the readers understand two individuals is the relationship between Liesel and Ilsa Hermann. The relationship between these two characters grows throughout the book, with Liesel becoming closer to the mayors wife and understanding her, and Ilsa always understanding Liesels passion for books.
