Organ system is the process and parts of the organ that make it functuin
Organ Systems in the Human Body and its functions
Muscular System (MUSCLES)
Locomotion, support, heat protection.
Endocrine SYstem
Directing long-term changes in the activities of other organ systems
Cardiovascular System (HEART)
Internal transport of cells and dissolved materials, including nutrients, wastes and gases
Respiratory System (LUNGS)
Delivery of air to sites where gas exchange can occur between the air and the circulating blood

Processing of food and absorption of nutrients, minerals, vitamins and water.

Directing immediate responses to stimuli, usually by coordinating the activities of other organ systems.
Organism Level
All of the organ systems in the body work together to maintain life and health of the organism
Tissue Level
A tissue is composed of similar cells working together
Organ Level
An organ consists of two or more different tissues
