      1. Ecuador doesn't want to depend on oil due to political issues and corruption amongst oil companies
        1. Money will go to renewable projects whose profits will go towards reforestation, conservation, and social projects
          1. 9 hydroelectric and several solar and geothermal projects lined up to receive money
