  1. WHAT I KNEW ABOUT CLIL?
    1. Before seeing it in class I did not know much about this topic
      1. I knew about the existence of centers that teach subjects in a foreign language but I did not identify this such as CLIL.
    2. WHAT IS CLIL?

      • " CLIL refers to situations where subjects, or parts of subjects, are taught through a foreign language with dual-focused aims, manely the learning of content, and the simultaneous learning of a foreing language" (David Marsh, 1994)
      1. Advantages of CLIL
        1. Students learn more than one language
          1. It develops the thinking process of the brain
            1. They can learn new features of cultures
              1. Kids can enrich the understanding of the concepts and help expand it.
