Abraham was the father of Hebrews. According to the Torah,
God told him to introduce this new belief - Judaism, to the
people. God told him to go to the promised land - Canaan. He
also made the covenant between himself and God. God
promised to favor and protect the descendants of Abraham.To
show his loyal to the God, he even needed to kill his son. At last,
