How Will We Create Enigma in our Opening?
Enigma in film is a way of creating tension, suspense and generally creating secrets that will be answered throughout the course of the film
Different ways of creating enigma could include avoiding the use of personal pronouns
referring to events that the audience has not been told about yet
creating mystery by leaving both the audience and the main character in the dark
Ways we will create enigma in our opening
The size, colour and font of the text can indicate the mood of the film.
setting of the opening is very important for getting across information without it being said, therefore we should shoot it in areas with high poverty
The ending of the opening can be a great source of suspense, therefore we should end it with a cliffhanger
we must use a variety of camera angles that give the audience a full view of the events on screen
