      1. the poem is made up of mostly unrhymed couplets which creates fragmentation, this matches the feeling of the wife as she seeks to understand to stand the feelings of the husband.while she tries to search for answers to why he has become like this

        1. the title is a pun as the women is litually trying to fid her husband s he has changed after the war, it is used metaphoicallly.the first lines in the pomes shows the activity of the women as she does her "search" as the poet uses words such as jdjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj

            1. the poem is mainly made up of rhymed couplets. this creates a sense of framintation.this helps us to understand the wifes feelings as she looks for her hhhusband

              1. the title is a pun as the women is litually serching for her husband metaphorically.words like "explore" "handle and hold and "mind and attened show careful treatement of his injured body as well as his injured mind.

                  1. The Manhunt is about the patience and care of love. The wife in the poem is methodical and thorough in her search

                    1. the peoms explores the cost or war it has on people."grazed heart", perhaps literally from an injury caused by "the metal beneath his chest", but also metaphorically. He is unable to connect with his wife, unwilling to speak of his experiences which means that there relatioship is put on hold. the meatal bullet in the "feotus" suggests that there relatiosnhip will be changed for ever like having a baby.
                    2. Attitudes
                      1. Lines 23 and 24 present the metaphor of "a sweating, unexploded mine buried deep in his mind". The source of the problem is not physical but mental, and threatens to cause problems at any time. The importance of the wife's care
                        1. The poem isn't about the right and wrong of war just the impact of war on this pictular relationship.
                          1. Then, and only then, did I come close". Her search is not fully successful, she only comes "close", and only after she realises that her husband's problems lie as much in memories of his experiences as they do in his physical scars.
