When people look at a website, they make a first judgement on whether they trust it that is based on design factors. These design factors include poor navigation, color, text size, font choice, or the name of the website. After people make their first gut-decision on whether or not to trust a website, they go on to further investigate the content to see if they really trust it or not. The credibility of a website for someone often depends on whether or not they trust the organization, or company that has posted the information.
Here are a few statistics that show how closely related trust is to happiness. Extroverts are happier than introverts. Optimists are happier than pessimists. Married people are happier than single people. People who go to church are happier than people who don't. People with an active sex life are happier. 70% of the variability in happiness can be attributed to relationships with the people in your life.
