Market gardening is a type of intensive commercial farming. It is done to make as much profit as possible from the produce. Goods such as flowers, fruit and vegetables are ideal to make good profits from the crop. They are often located close to their market. Market Gardening covers only 5% of farmland area but makes up 25% of agricultural export. Land is scare as Netherlands is densely populated.Market gardening is big in the Netherlands.
