Audience awareness.
 The audience is who will view the text/film and will who understand and read it. The audience is important to a film as that is the films main target, otherwise the film will make no profit. There are many ways to find out who the target audience will be for certain films for example: focus groups; questionnaires and media comparisons. Companies have to find out who the audience are in many different ways, some of these ways are: age; gender; status; location and race. The ways of analysing audience's reactions are: audience engagement; audience identification; audience placement and audience expectations.
