    Simple past
    What is? It is a tense that expresses situations or actions that occurred in the past, and although they may be from the recent or distant past, their duration is not important; it should only be understood that these have already ended.

    what is its structure?
    Affirmative Subject + verb (-d, -ed) + complement Ejemplos: He lived in London 2 years= Él vivió en Londres 2 años I cried when he died= Lloré cuando él murió

      Negative Subject + did not + basic form verb + complement Ejemplos: We didn’t argue this morning = Nosotros no discutimos esta mañana He didn’t enjoy his birthday party = Él no disfrutó su fiesta de cumpleaños

    I     t is important to remember that in the past simple, the negative and interrogative forms of the sentences must be built with the auxiliary did and the main verb of the action must remain unchanged.
