    Lyric Analysis:
"Doesn't make any sense to youWhen I do everything you tell me not to do" "I must turn it down, turn it downTurn it down, turn it down""So you say, you can see through the cracks of my pain There's a satellite image like a map of my brain, my brain"
This refers to the singer breaking the rules someone is setting them. Perhaps a partner, friend or even parents who are restricting them.Singer suggests the rule setter is ignorant to how their rules are stopping her from having freedom. We will act this in our music video by Jack and Ell having an argument and Ella storming out. This could be shown as a literal presentation of someone turning down music. Could also mean turning down/shutting off outside voices telling the singer how to behave. We will film these lyrics in the studio with ella miming 'turn it down' with her hands. She is mocking how the person she sings about thinks they can read her and know what she's thinking, but really they don't know at all.We plan to have a dolly shot which pans and travels around Ella and Jack facing forward in the studio.

Slide 2

"Better brace yourself for the hurricane we deliver Best prepare for the winter""We'll be running downstream while you're swimming up river""I'm not sweet enough to talk But I still got sugar, I still got sugarI still got sugar, I still got sugar"
This could mean that there will be arguments over her not having freedom in the future; there is going to be rough times. We are going to film Ella on location, literally shivering. Meaning she's always gonna be ahead of 'you'; 'you' are going the wrong way and won't catch her. She is going to excel without 'you'.We will show this through Jack and Ella crossing the same path in the narrative but at different times, just missing each other. Again, the singer refers to someone telling her what she can/can't do but she basically says screw that I can do what I want. We are going to have a studio shot of Jack and Ella licking a lollipop.
