How Reflection is
important during our
Lessons - By Pilar Osorio
- A good Teachers always takes into account these points:
- - Planning Reflective Lessons: It helps to develop assessment, critical thinking and interaction
between Teacher and Students.
- - Try to ask questions with "How": It will help Students
to develop their reflective skills.
- - Provide Tools and encourage Students to develop a reflective practice with modalities like writing, drawing, painting, preparing presentations, etc.
- - Link aims and students' interests goals to give a meaningful feedback
- - Find innovative tools to encourage students to improve other skills: You can record, take pictures, prepare a chart asking about their own work, etc.
- Reflective teaching is
the way we prepare,
observe, analize and
evaluate our lessons.
- It is
important
because we
need to know
when a
lesson was
good, or bad.
We need
take into
account our
students,
too.
- During reflection, take into account:
- Observations and daily plannings.
- Reflections: asking colleagues, searching information.
- Conclusions about this process.
