    1. Pressure Head : The height of fluid necessary to produce a pressure, p
      1. Velocity Head: The vertical distance needed for the fluid to start from rest and to fall vertically and reach velocity V.

          1. Statics Pressure: The actual thermodynamic pressure of a fluid as it flows [2]
            1. Dynamic Pressure: The pressure caused by the velocity of fluid. This pressure is measured if all the Kinetic energy is converted to mechanical energy
              1. Hydrostatic Pressure: It represents a change in pressure due to elevation change
              2. Applied to the motion of particle in an ideal fluid
                1. Properties of ideal fluid: Inviscid, loses no energy to friction
                2. Application
                  1. Siphon [1]: Siphon is a bent used to transfer a liquid over an obstruction to a place at lower elevation without the use of pumps. Siphons operate using atmospheric pressure. Liquid flows from high pressure region to low pressure region. Therefore, the liquid on the upper container flows into the flask at lower level under atmospheric pressure.
