Drowsiness, flapping tremor and mental confusion (these are features of elevated carbon dioxide levels). Other signs include being underweight, ankle oedema, cyanosis, hyperinflation of the chest, downward displacement of the liver, relatively quiet vesicular breath sounds, wheezing, prolonged forced expiratory time.
