    1. Fully Managed (by CMS) upto the Operating System and/or application
      1. Customer doesn't have any write access to any production OS, hypervisor/vCenter, security, network, storage and backup devices and/or configuration
        1. Customer cannot create/delete/snapshot VMs
          1. Customer may request read-only access to device configuration (dealt per case-basis)
        2. Managed
          1. Managed up to the hypervisor layer only
            1. vCenter is initially built and configured with ESX clusters/virtual networks etc. and then handed over to the customer. Customer is able to create/delete/snapshot VM's
              1. Customer doesn't have write access to any production security, network, storage and backup devices and/or configuration
                1. Customer may request read-only access to the managed device configuration (dealt per case-basis)
              2. Un-Managed
                1. Managed up to the hardware level only.
                  1. Customer/Managed Service Provider manages everything above the hardware level
