6. how do we cope w/sucess?
bottom line: honor God and do your job!
to cope with sucess - Honor God
1. God is the source of your sucess
  1. would have been easy for Joe to take credit
  2. Joe was clear about this!
  3. his ability, gifts wasn't b/c he was just a good guy!
  4. if you honor God @ work, he will give you opportunities to share your source of success
2. remember God is in control
  1. 3 x's he reveal God's soveriengty (25, 28, 32)
  2. he's talking to the most powerful man on the planet!
  3. yet Pharoah could do nothing!
  4. Joe could say this b/c he'd experienced it!
to cope w/sucess - do your job
1. keep character over career
  1. inspite of the pits, Joe maiintained he character
  2. he didn't try to strike a pleabargain
  3. he trusted God to take care of the details
2. keep competence w/ your characvter
  1. plan your work/work your plan
  2. he was good @ what he did.
  3. he followed through, finished
