initial chemo fb delayed nephrectomy
then tumour histologically staged
then Rx planned
radiotherapy
only for those w/ more advanced disease
good prognosis
> 80% of pts cured
cure rate for pts w/ mets @ presentation is > 60%
relapse has poor prognosis
