Consumer Products:

Consumer products are those brought by final customers for PERSONAL CONSUMPTION. Marketers usually classify these goods as: # Convenience Goods # Shopping Goods # Speciality Goods # Unsought Goods

Convenience Goods-

They are relatively inexpensive, frequently purchased items for buyers who exert minimal purchasing efforts.

Items with unique characteristics that buyers are willing to put in considerable efforts to obtain.

Unsought Products -

products purchased to solve a sudden problem, products which most customers are not aware of and don't necessarily think of buying.
