Seerah refers to life of the Holy Prophet (pbuh). It has two main sections, Life in Makkah and Life in Medinah.

LIFE IN MAKKAH

The Prophet was born on 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal 571 A.D. He was named Muhammad by his grandfather Abdul Muttalib.

The Conditions of Arabia at the time of his birth were horrible. The world had forgotten the message of the Creator and were indulged in polytheism. Arabia was involved in the worst form of idolatry (idol worshipping). The Ka'abah (House of God) was full of idols and every household in Arabia had it's own idol. There was no moral code; gambling, drinking and other vices
