Haemoglobin is a group of chemically similar molecules found in many different organisms
Haemoglobin is a protein with a quaternary structure
Haemoglobin transports oxygen around the body.it does this by forming oxyhaemoglobin and this can be unloaded at respiring cells/tissues.
At a higher partrial pressure there is a higher affinity for oxygen, so it loads.
Carbon dioxide causes a bohr shift. so the curve shifts to the right and the affinity is lowered.
