I know you have a few marketing emails which haven’t been clicked out there – we all do! For over five years I battled with low email marketing click-through rates. I didn’t think I was doing anything wrong. In more than one incident I even though I got it right, too bad. I never gave up though. Then I bumped on how to create a marketing email that sells. From that one post, I achieved much more than I did in those five years. I researched more, got better, got more tricks, and today I can easily recommend these top tips to boost your CTR from your busiest customers. Read on.   Catchy Title My first trick is the “catchy title” but probably you are aware of it already. However, the one thing you may not know is how to create that title and make it much more appealing. Here is what I often do. I avoid spammy titles. I keep my titles short and direct. For example, “5 Ways to Get the Best Marketing Email” looking at it, this title makes an instant connection, it is direct, adds value, and instills curiosity. Focus on Client My next trick is the “customer focus” and it helps to make the customer like you. When your customer likes you they will always want to hear from you. This makes it easy for them to open your emails too. One way that I use to do this is to talk about a project that my prospect has done while leading them to buy from me. This shows that I appreciate them and creates a close relationship between us always. Remain Relevant Another trick that I have seen a pal use is the “acute relevancy”. Here is how this one goes. You can always relate what your prospect does to what you intend to do. You can give your email this type of introduction; I loved your last review on [enter topic], I am a great fan and would love it if you can join us to give more awareness on… (This gives them opportunity and benefits you too). It is a win-win situation and that’s business. Give an Offer My other trick is the “offer plus” tip. You can always offer them something. Show them what is in it for them. A good example is this title “Get a 10% Bonus on Our New Arrivals”. Such a title shows it directly. You don’t have to be too wordy. Too many words may make you lose relevancy or sound spammy and you don’t want to do that. Just keep your words simple, direct, and easy to understand always. We know email list building is not easy for starters. But don’t worry, I was there and I got out. With new tricks up your sleeve, you can get better reads and build a bigger database. Make sure you keep every trick closer to your chest and that you follow my lead. If you don’t have the slightest idea of what you are doing, ask an expert!
