A form of educational tourism is that of intensive overseas educational programmes. This form of educational tourism taps on facilities such as universities with reputations for educational excellence.Medical tourism: travelling to a destination to undergo medical procedures that would enhance or restore health. They often travel to countries with excellent reputations for medical procedures. An example is South Korea where it is known for their cosmetic surgery services. This is because the country is known for its highly skilled doctors and advanced technology.Health tourism: travelling to a destination to maintain, enhance or restore their minds and bodies. This form of tourism include visits to hot springs or mud baths. the dead sea has been an attraction for centuries as its high level of salt and mud is said to be beneficial to the skin and those suffering from rheumatism and arthritis.Heritage tourism: travelling to locations to experience different cultures and to understand the history of places better. Heritage sites and activities help to reinforce national identities for domestic tourists. they also help to promote a country's identity, culture and history to international tourists. E.g museums
