1. SIMETRÍA, TRASLACIONES Y GIROS
1.1. FIGURAS CON SIMETRÍA
Definición
Una figura tiene simetría si al doblarla por un eje coinciden las dos partes.
1.2. MOVIMIENTOS EN EL PLANO
SIMETRÍA RESPECTO A UN EJE
Copiar una imagen como si estuviera mirándose en un espejo.
TRASLACIÓN
Mover una figura.
GIROS
Girar una figura hacia la derecha o izquierda una serie de grados.
2. ESCALAS
Definición
Hacer una foto o un plano más pequeño que su tamaño.
Son útiles para:
Para hacer un mapa o tener fotos en tamaño más pequeño.
1:100 Un cm del plano = a 100 cm reales
3. POLÍGONOS
Son:
Figura plana formada por 1 línea poligonal cerrada y su interior.
Elementos:
Perímetro
La suma de las longitudes de todos sus lados.
TIPOS
REGULAR
si todos sus lados y todos sus ángulos son iguales
IRREGULAR
Sus lados y ángulos NO son iguales entre si.
CONVEXO
Sus ángulos son menores de 180º.
Es como dar un beso en la superficie de la mano.
Sus diagonales no se salen del polígono.
EJEMPLOS: tapadera por la parte de arriba, un gorro de arriba.
CÓNCAVO
Al menos uno de sus ángulos es mayor de 180º.
La parte inferior/interior de la mano. Es como un cabo en el mar. Como hacer un agujero en la tierra.
Alguna de sus diagonales se sale del polígono.
EJEMPLOS: La parte interior de un cuenco. La parte interior de una antena parabólica. La parte interior de una cuchara.

Triángulo (3) Cuadrilátero (4). Pentágono (5). Hexágeno (6). Heptágono (7). Octógono (8). Eneágono (9). Decágono (10).
