it is similar to hypertext , use
links but they take the reader to
media sources like sound image,
animation , video, etc
multimedia
not only uses one or two types of
media. it uses several: such as : text,
image, sound video, animation. etc

HYPERLTEXT
is the electronic text format where,
content isinterconnected using
hyperlinks.
Hypertext is a subset of hypermedia.
HYPERMEDIA
refersto media such as text, audio, graphics and
videointerconnected using hyperlinks
is the use of advanced form of hypertext like
interconnected systems to store and present text,
graphics and other media types where the content is
linked to each other by hyperlinks
Hypermedia is an application of multimedia, hence a subset
of multimedia
MULTIMEDIA
Multimedia is the presentation of media as text,
images, graphics, video, and audio by the use of
computers or the information content processing
devices (ex. Smart phones)
Multimedia can be in linear or non-linear content
format, but the hypermedia is only in non-linear
content format
