      1. Annotations:

        • We had to change the angle using gears, so we decide to bulit a windmill which is rotating with a lever.

                    Annotations:

                    •    When the axes between two gears are too far apart gear transmission is not suitable . Higher gear rations generate more torque and rotate more slowly.
                    1. Annotations:

                      •    Cylindrical gears were the teeth are parallel to the axis are easy to produce and are one of the most commonly seen gear combinations. They are used in motors various axle combinations and widely used in power transmission. The gear ratios of many gearboxes spur gears for the arrangement.
                      1. Annotations:

                        • Planetary gears are structured with one or many gears that rotate around a central gear. They are most often used in decreasing speed . This is the base for the Antikythera Machine that was found in Greece in 1901
                        1. Annotations:

                          •    This model is a power transmission sprocket. It is a block sprocket that is assembled using chunks of steel .This model will show you how power transmission sprockets use motors to power the swaying motion .
