Vessel constriction --> Platelet plug --> Fibrin plug
Acute Inflammation
Neutrophils + Macrophages remove debris from injury
Clinical signs of inflammation present
Proliferation
Granulation tissue formation + Replacement of epithelial cells
Macrophages produce growth factors --> proliferation of epithelial cells + fibroblasts
Restores normal function & structure
Wound Maturation & Remodelling
When inflammation has finished & new tissue has formed
Granulation tissue is replaced by mature connective tissue
