Present Tense

Annotations:

• present tense is used when the verb refers to the present time

1. present simple

   Annotations:

   • Used to indicate a habitual action
2. present continuous

   Annotations:

   • Used for an action going on at the present time
3. present perfect

   Annotations:

   • Used to indicate activities that completed in the near past
4. present perfect continuous

   Annotations:

   • Used for an action which began at some time in the past and is still continuing
