                    1. patrick was a parayerful man as he said as many as "a hundred prayers a night"
                      1. He had a strong bond with god and saw prayer as a method of communication

                        1. Patrick also emerges from his writings as shepherd and pastor of his flock. it is in this imagery of himself that he uses in the letter
