What is Operations Management ?

Operations management is concerned with the design, planning, control, and improvement of an organizational resources and processes to produce goods and services for customers. (Johnston at.el, 2003)
Operations management is the collection of activities which are concern with the design, planning, control and improvement of an organizational resources and process in transforming input to output.
